Carl, these all communicate Clatter effectively. The typeface is a good choice, as the serifs look quite clunky before the motion, so good choice. Is magenta the best colour to represent clatter? Maybe letters could change colour as they bash into each other. Their are some great animations, you seem to have nutted out the technical side pretty quickly.

1. This one is quite complex, I think the timing of the letters needs some tweaking to run a bit smoother. Maybe less spins on the letters would help?
2. Could the 'l' and the 'e' wobble a little when the 'c' and 'r' hit them? Or maybe all the letters could collapse inwards. Think this one could be built on!
3. The camera pans very quickly, the ending is a bit disjointed. Would pulling the camera back a bit to help the flow?
4. This one is the most representative of clatter, I think the slowing panning camera allows you to show contact in a more subtle way.
